Spark is the lending and savings arm of the Sky (formerly MakerDAO) ecosystem. SparkLend, based on Aave v3, lends USDS and DAI at rates set by Sky governance, and Spark Savings passes the Sky Savings Rate to depositors.

• Geo Block: reported. app.spark.finance answers HTTP 403 with a geo-block notice to some countries; the app's own /ip/status check (api-v2.spark.finance) returns the country and a VPN flag for the list in the code. The countries are those of the live probe (see the observations; 2026-10-12: 18 of 61, among them UA, RU, BY, IR, CU, SY, VE, AF, LB). 2023 reports: 'Accessing this website via VPN is not allowed', US block. Blocked countries: United States, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, Iran, Myanmar (Burma), Afghanistan, Libya, Lebanon, South Sudan, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Nicaragua, Congo - Kinshasa, Central African Republic, Mali.
