Extended

Extended is a hybrid perpetual futures exchange: orders are matched off-chain and trades settle on Starknet, with settlement moving to Circle's Arc from 2026-10-22. USDC is the collateral, and the app takes deposits and withdrawals on several EVM networks and on Starknet.

  • Geo Block: yes. GET /geo answers 451 for a restricted region and the app replaces itself with "Extended is not available in your region" (API error GLOBAL.NOT_AVAILABLE_IN_YOUR_REGION). The blocked countries are those where /geo answered 451 to the live probe (see the observations); the Restricted Countries page names 16 jurisdictions. Blocked countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Hong Kong SAR China, Russia, Syria, Iran, Cuba, Afghanistan, Yemen.

Closed frontend. The app asks api.starknet.extended.exchange/geo on load; a 451 answer blocks the app, and the load balancer's error code tells a VPN from a restricted region. GET api.starknet.extended.exchange/geo answered {"status": "OK"} from Singapore, Brazil and France on 2026-10-12.
